null

Viking Tours operates the ship Viking I in accordance with general Government guidelines and the industry specific guidelines issued by Fáilte Ireland.
All Viking Tours crew members have completed Fáilte Ireland recognised hygiene and safety control training.

Advanced Booking

To comply with regulations, all sailings are by booking only, regardless of whether you have pre-purchased an online flexi-ticket or chosen to buy a day-ticket on board Viking I.

Please book your trip prior to arrival. You will be required to give passenger details to allow for necessary contact tracing.

Cleaning Regime

Viking I is thoroughly disinfected to the highest standards. Our dedicated crew attend to this following each sailing, paying special attention to high-touch areas. If you have any concerns please contact a crew member.

Prior to Boarding

Please maintain physical distancing in the event of a queue on the pier, adhere to any queueing routes operating on the pier or any instructions by Viking Tours staff and comply with advisory signage.

On Board

We have reduced capacity on Viking I to allow for recommended social distancing where possible. Please follow onboard instructions but accept that the recommended social distancing guidelines may not always be possible to implement onboard the ship.

Face coverings are compulsory on board and must be worn at all times. We recommend passengers bring their own face coverings. Regular spot checks will be carried out by the Gardaí, the HSE and the Captain to ensure compliance.

Hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial soap are available on board. All passengers will be directed towards a hand sanitizer station and asked to use hand sanitizer before boarding.
We ask that you follow the instructions of our crew at all times. Please remain in your seat where possible. If you require assistance, let the crew know.

Please observe social distancing protocols, hand hygiene and coughing etiquette throughout the duration of your journey.

Signage on board will serve to reiterate and remind passengers of our safety guidelines.
Please note that the crew will not be able to assist passengers with their bags.

We ask that everyone on board remember they have a duty of care to their fellow passengers and to the crew. If you have any questions regarding our Safety Charter, please email: [email protected]
